We keep this deliberately short and plain. KoalaCash is not live yet, so right now the only personal data we handle is what you give us to join the waitlist.

Who we are
KoalaCash (“we”, “us”) operates this website. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. If you have any questions, email us at hello@koalacash.app.
What we collect
When you join our waitlist, we collect the email address you provide. We also collect basic, anonymous usage analytics when you visit the site (for example, which pages are viewed), so we can understand what is useful and improve it.
Why we use it
We use your email to keep you updated about KoalaCash, to let you know when it launches, and to share any founding member offers. We use analytics to measure and improve how the website performs. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Our legal basis
We rely on your consent to add you to the waitlist and send you updates. You can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing us. For basic website analytics we rely on our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the site.
Who processes it
We use trusted service providers to run the site and the waitlist. Waitlist emails are stored using Google Firebase, and website hosting and analytics are provided by Vercel. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.
How long we keep it
We keep your waitlist email until KoalaCash launches and for a reasonable period afterwards, or until you ask us to remove it, whichever comes first. After that we delete it.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to ask for a copy of it. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@koalacash.app. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Children
This website and waitlist are intended for parents and other adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through this site.
International transfers
Some of our providers may process data outside the UK. Where that happens, we rely on those providers’ safeguards to make sure your data stays protected to UK standards.
Changes to this policy
KoalaCash is still in development. When the app launches we will handle more data, such as family accounts, and we will update this policy to explain exactly what we collect and why. When we make meaningful changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
